How would you describe your photography style?

I favor a documentary or photojournalistic style.  I aim to get authentic moments without being too intrusive. This also affects my editing style in that I don't go for overly stylized looks.  My main goal is for you to look back at your photos and feel transported to that moment.  Not just how it looked, but also how it felt.

Are you insured?

I have both insurance on my equipment and liability insurance that covers me both in my studio and on location.  Many venues require that vendors have their own insurance, so I am prepared to work anywhere!

How long have you been shooting weddings?  How many weddings have you photographed?

I photographed my first wedding in 2012 and I have been doing this full-time since 2015.  Over the years I have photographed over 100 weddings plus a handful of weddings as a second shooter when I was getting started.

Will you be the one shooting my wedding?

I am always the head photographer.  What you see in my portfolio, both in shooting and editing style will be what you can expect.  I do work with my wife as well, but she is my assistant and second shooter.  We have worked together for over six years, so our work flow and visual direction meshes well.

What exactly is included in your packages?

I offer four main packages with a variety of options.  I have a simplified version of my pricing guide under the pricing tab. For more details, reach out to me through the contact tab and I will send over my pricing guide to walk you through the options.  All my packages include full day coverage, to ensure the day is documented properly.  They also all include an online gallery, for ease of downloading, print ordering, and sharing.

How much of a deposit do you require and when is it due?

I require half of the total package price no later than 5 weeks after you receive your contract.

How long will it take to get my photos?

My promised turnaround for wedding galleries is 7-10 weeks but I often deliver them around 6 weeks after the wedding.  As for engagement session and most other types of session, 2-3 weeks is typical.

What is your favorite dinosaur?

I like the classics.  You know, T-rex, Stegosaurus, etc.  However, the Quetzalcoatlus is crazy and I kinda like that.

Can I see a full wedding gallery?

Absolutely!  I don’t publish those for access to all for the general privacy of my clients, but you can definitely take a peak.  Just let me know, and I will send you a secure link.

Do you shoot film?

Yes I do!  I have options to add film to any of my packages.  For details in regards to weddings, refer to the pricing tab.  If you’re interested in film for something other than a wedding, mention it when you reach out.

How will you be dressed?

For weddings I aim to blend in as much as possible, so I typically wear mostly black.  For the sake of professionalism, I steer away from casual attire.
